Around the Hudson Valley you can find talented artists almost everywhere you look. The people over at Hudson Valley Tattoo Company are the top tier of those talented artists. Their care, their passion and their personalities are all top notch. If you go into their super clean and friendly space I guarantee you wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Glad to be a part of this great fundraiser that raised $11,200 to Poughkeepsie High Schools Art Program! Stop in and say hi to Diego, Shish and the rest of the group.
A little snippet of a video I shot for Focus Fitness NY. More little snippets to come then a longer video.
What more needs to be said. A Wedding... In Aruba.... Golden Hour Galore. This was an incredible weekend which also so happened to be my 27th birthday the Sunday after this Saturday wedding. Alisha and Jesse have turned into good friends of mine doing video work for them the past year and a half. Jesse owns Heritage: Food and Drink while Alisha is the 4th generation of her family to be partnered in Hudson Valley Fruit Distributers. Super super chill couple and amazing group of family and friends. This was one of those weddings where no matter what I did the shots were beautiful because Aruba is beautiful. Incredible weekend I can't thank Alisha and Jesse enough!! hope you guys like it!
*MAKE SURE TO WATCH IN 1080*
2nd Shooter: Vincent Derise
Jessica and Kevin, April 2017. First wedding of this calendar year was a cold and rainy day. I actually loved the weather because it was unique to any other wedding I have shot before. The day went super smoothly and the forecast provided us with a ton of soft natural light. I love the look of Bodouin Park during this time of the year. The marsh was a perfect spot to get some creative style shots.
Jess and Kevin were extremely happy all day and made the shoot go by really fast and easy. Its not every wedding things go so according to plan. Thanks for being awesome!!
Amazing couple, amazing weather, incredible early September day at Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville, NY. Every teaser is different so I decided to show them having some fun before the ceremony in the orchard after just arriving at the venue.
These were shot back in July but never got around to posting them.
My friend Natalie Lazaro was visiting from San Diego and wanted to shoot. She owns a floral company on the west coast and was super excited to shoot with her because her pictures are amazing. She called our friend Kayleigh and Natalie then hooked us all up at this amazing flower farm in New Paltz, NY. Natalie got to pick the flowers right from the farm and then started to assemble a bouquet while Kayleigh and Kyle were getting ready. We originally wanted to shoot at dawn or dusk for some incredible golden/blue hour light but our schedules just weren't meshing. We decided on 11 am or else we wouldn't have even shot that day. Mid day isn't ideal but there was a nice hazy overcast sky, the type of sky that the sun still shines through but barely. it was perfect.
I changed some of the hues around to give it a little washy saturated look. Here are some of my favorites.
I found this looking for wedding song inspiration and fell in love with it. I cannot get it out of my head and this is my attempt to do just that..... Wait to find out which video I will be using this for.
Poughkeepsie isn't known for its comradery, in fact its not known for too much in the past 25 years other than negative connotations. Its changing to positives at an amazing rate. First Friday in Poughkeepsie brings the community closer together and its another massive step for making Poughkeepsie a true all American city. I love to travel but I love this city and the surrounding towns and I couldn't be happier in the place I grew up. Thanks to Rob Rolison our city of Poughkeepsie Mayor and Rhinebeck Bank, LCS and R.L. Baxter for putting it together and making it a reality and for getting me involved..
This was Augusts First Friday. Septembers was just a week ago and it went even better...
Heritage is a brand new American Cuisine style restaurant in Wappingers Falls, NY. Ive collaborated with Jesse Camac, Owner and operator, and Eric Baxter of R.L. Baxter, to provide a little content on the building process. I went in on three separate occasions, months apart, to show progress and what it actually takes to start building from scratch. Hope you enjoy the transition video which is more of a teaser. A longer more in depth video will come out at a later date. The 2nd video is a little clip for the owners of their first "soft opening"......... side note: I love this song in the first video and can't get it out of my head. Its from the show "The Young Pope" on HBO. I suggest listening to the long when you are on a bike ride, a run or even editing a wedding video.
A quick teaser for the beautiful Nicole and Jason Fiore, as they share their first look at the beautiful West Hills Country Club in Middletown, NY. What a perfect location for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time on their big day. Love to show some progress to the couple and how the day will play out on screen!
When I found out Amaya, my friend Gabby's daughter, wanted a photo shoot for her 6th birthday I could not say no! She killed it, even though the heat was starting to get intense she was still cool as a cucumber. Shot these at Locust Grove Manor in Poughkeepsie, NY.
